An augmented reality transmission from the future, ReachYou presents a future where Earth no longer supports human life, and asks you to record your griefs and gratitudes of this time, co-creating a 3-D, sculptural, global HumanRecord of our shared human experience.

So find a pocket of uninterrupted time: about the time it takes to start a fire with slightly damp wood and sit by it, as the heat warms your bare arms, enough time for your mind to wander and be brought back by the hiss of escaped steam, the pop of the wood drying.

• and a deep breath

You, singular in all of time, you who have been gifted this experience or have stumbled upon it (and what stumble doesn’t bring you closer to earth). You are here for a reason. And we need you.

ReachYou is a multi-authored augmented reality experience, defining a new genre of contemplative, interactive slow-media.

ReachYou is Humane Technology: socially responsible and allowing us to deepen our own contemplation and connection to strangers. ReachYou changes our relationship with our phones and teaches us to slow down. ReachYou resists any profit motive, won’t sell data, and eschews addictive engagement metrics.
